NIJ Hosts Ayo Omotola's Book Launch; "A NIght in the Morning"

A former student of Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ayo
Omotola, launched his first book; “The Night in the Morning” at the institute
yesterday, March, 4.
During the speech by the host, Deputy Provost of the
Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Mr. Jide Johnson, he expressed his pleasure
concerning the great outcome from one of the school’s products.
However, Dr. Dele Omojuyigbe who did the book review maintained
that the book is one of standard, encourages the African culture and one that
everyone must read.
Mike Okoche of Television Continental (TVC) who was the
Master of the Ceremony stated that if Prof. Wole Shoyinka or any other great
scholar had read the book, they will certify that Nigeria still has a future in
literature.
Among many testimonies, the book launch
chairman who is the former permanent secretary of State Universal Basic
Education Board (SUBEB) said that it remained just a paragraph for her to
finish reading the book, stating that since she stated reading the book she had been glued to its pages.
The students of the institute also were in attendance to
commemorate with the great achievement of Omotola.
