 Badru Fihinfoluwa

Nigerian Institute of Journalism two weeks break has affected businesses patronage around and within the Institute negatively.

Business owners spoke on how the break has affected their businesses.
Mrs. Olasheinde who owns a small chops business in front of the institution said she has been in the business close to fifteen years and NIJ students contribute large quota when it comes to her business patronage.

She said the effect of the vacation on her business is quite discouraging and anticipates their resumption with a more profitable relationship between the students and her business enterprise.

Similarly, The Managing Director of Lukadol and Associates, Mrs. Olaoshebikan popularly known as 'Alhaja' said she feels the presence of the student positively rather than the negative impact of the vacation on the enterprise. Nevertheless, the impact of the vacation has left a little hole in the profit maximization of Lukadol and associates.

However, the hope of these traders will be risen as the school resumes on Monday, February 27.
