NIJ Resumes

Full-time students of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism
resumed yesterday being the 27th of February, 2017, as earlier announced by the
institution.
It appeared that over 70% of the students did not resume as
it has always been, however, lectures have begun and new courses have been
introduced to the students especially the freshly admitted students in National
Diploma 1.
The Deputy Provost, Mr. Jide Johnson, claimed to be less
concerned about the turn up of students.
In his words, "that is their business. I had a class
this morning and I am still going to have". He made this statement after
his visit to National Diploma 1 claiming four students attended
his class.
Nevertheless, this did not affect the joy of those who
resumed today, barely seeing each other after the two weeks of vacation.
