Desmond Elliot Confirmed as Next NIJ Professional Forum Guest

Desmond Elliot will on Wednesday, April 5 visit the Nigerian Institute of Journalism as a guest for a programme known as Professional Forum.

Professional Forum comes up first Wednesday of each month where students meet sophisticated personalities who relate their experience, success and failure as well as to open their eyes to opportunities and step to greatness.

Desmond Elliot is a Nigerian actor, director and politician who has starred in over two hundred films and a number of television shows and soap operas.

Presently, Desmond Olusola Elliot is representing the people of Surulere constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly. Also, he is involved in Public Relations for Globacom.

He graduated from Lagos State University where he studied Economics.

His coming was made known to the students via a mobile message by the school management on March 27.

Speaking with some student on his coming, Jedidah, a National Diploma 2 student said, “Elliot coming to NIJ is a time to look forward to. I want him to share his experience how he moved from an actor to a politician. I am expecting him to advice and also to take photograph with him.”

However, Gabriel Alabi  said he sees the avenue as a chance to have his contact.
